The reason I will never buy an eReader.
hiimspencer: This truly breaks my heart I pledge to read the printed word As an owner of a Kindle, let me just say, reading eBooks does not defeat the purpose of a book! Pinoy Tumblr.: CHED and the falling morality of... →
pinoytumblr: I was closely watching my twitter account last night, waiting for CHED’s announcement on whether or not there will be classes the next day. Of course, just like most normal college kids, I want the classes cancelled to continue re-reading the 5th Installment of Harry Potter and just study the day… Hello Twitter generation, pay attention. Think before you tweet.

Dear ___, You probably don’t mean 3/4 of the things you say. Given your words/sentences’ nature, it’s probably better you spend more time thinking about what you’re going to say before opening your mouth. It will probably teach you how to respectfully treat the people around you.

of a feast for crows
It’s a struggle to read. I guess it’s hard to follow through after the action packed A Storm of Swords. The title already hints there’s a lot of recovering to go through…an aftermath of what once was. I need to stop. I don’t want to spoil. So to say this without ruining the reading experience: Martin should’ve made the book’s journey the destination.

Sorry, but I did NOT appreciate the pretentious tone of this piece. It is not the fault of a student in poverty who cannot afford a better education that he/she cannot read an expensive magazine/book commuting. Or that carrying one gets in the way of rushing to work, or makes your bag vulnerable to getting mugged. Yes, the educational system should work on the humanities, but let’s not rag...
